Tinalakay sa papel na ito ang epekto ng mga sakuna sa edukasyon ng mga mag-aaral sa Pilipinas, kabilang ang pagkaantala sa pagkatuto, banta sa kalusugan, at kakulangan sa teknolohiya. Binibigyang-diin ang pangangailangan ng sistematikong tugon mula sa pamahalaan at mga institusyon upang mapanatili ang karapatang pang-edukasyon sa gitna ng krisis. Sa kabila ng hamon, lumilitaw ang katatagan ng kabataang Pilipino.
